Friday Tasting: Andrew Rich Wines

Swing in this Friday, November 11, 2011 to taste some of the delicious work of winemaker and neighbor, Andrew Rich. Joe Moura will be pouring samples of several of Andrew's wines, including the 2010 Croft Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc, 2009 Pinot Noir Verbatim, 2009 Tabula Rasa Red, 2008 Coup d'Etat Columbia Valley, and 2008 Gewürztraminer Columbia Gorge. Named one of Wine & Spirits magazine's top 100 wineries of 2009, Andrew Rich Wines has been crafting distinctive wines in Oregon's Willamette Valley since 1995. Along with Pinot Noir, Rhône Valley varietals from the Columbia Valley--including Syrah, Roussanne, Grenache, and Mourvèdre--take pride of place, though the winery is equally well known for its seductive Gewürztraminer dessert wine.
