July 15th: Sparkler Smackdown!

Come by the shop this Friday, July 15th for a Sparkler Smackdown*! Bonnie Crocker from Domaine Selections will be here sharing samples of sparkling wines from France, Italy, Spain and South Africa, and discussing the merits and methods of each style. She’ll be pouring excellent examples of Prosecco (Bisol Brut “Jeio” from Valdobbiadene, Italy), Cava (Avinyo Cava Brut from the Penedes, Spain), Méthode Champenoise (Graham Beck Methode Cap Classique Brut from South Africa), and Champagne (Joel Falmet Champagne Brut “Tradition” from France). Bonnie has a wonderful depth of knowledge and an infectious enthusiasm for great wines, and we think you’ll enjoy chatting with her while you taste some lip-smacking good bubbly.
