Mangalitsa Pork Tasting
March 05, 2011
There’s a new ‘It Pig” on the food scene: the Mangalitsa. Originally bred in Hungary in 1833, the Mangalitsa produces richly marbled meat and creamy lard with an intensity of flavor that leaves other pork behind. Chefs all over the country are clamoring for this pork, although the supply is extremely limited. We invite you to come by the shop on Friday, March 18th (4:30 - 6: 30pm) when we’ll be offering samples of this exceptional bacon and ham. Hope to see you here — it’s going to be delicious!
