Friday Tasting: Tuscan Wines
January 31, 2011
Wouldn’t it be lovely to spend the weekend in a Tuscan villa, reveling in the glorious food and wine of the region? To bask in the wintery sun, soul warmed by a silky, rich Brunello? Lovely indeed. If however, your weekend plans include vacuuming and carpools instead of basking and reveling, then we invite you to take a tiny Tuscan holiday with us: Drop by the shop this Friday, February 4th between 4:30 & 6:30, when Joe Moura from Casa Bruno Wines will be here to share tastes of the 2007 Felsina Chianti Classico, 2005 Corte Alla Flora Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, 2007 La Gerla Rosso di Montalcino, and 2004 La Gerla Brunello di Montalcino. Perhaps a little plate of Prosciutto di Parma, Wild Boar salami, and a wedge of Pecorino Toscano would extend your pleasure even more? Ah, yes: lovely indeed.
