Friday June 11th: French Rosé Tasting

We've all had just about enough of the rain, haven't we? It's time to use every available tool to summon forth the sun. Nothing says 'summer in a glass' quite so well as a lovely, dry rosé, so let's bring them on! Bonnie Crocker from Domaine Selections will be at the shop on Friday, June 11th from 4:30 to 6:30pm to share samples of four delicious sun-beckoning French rosés: 2009 Commanderie de Peyrassol Côtes de Provence Rosé , 2009 Domaine de la Petite Mairie Bourgueil Rosé, 2009 Château Pesquie Les Terrasses Rosé, and 2009 Domaine de la Janasse Côtes du Rhône Rosé. We invite you to drop by the shop to taste these marvelous, summery wines. Perhaps if enough of us raise a little glass on Friday, we'll persuade the sun to come out for the Rose Festival Grand Floral Parade on Saturday!
