Friday Tasting: Spanish Wines for Spring Celebrations

It's official: spring is here! And what better way to welcome the season than to drop by the shop on Friday, March 26th to taste some delicious Spanish wines? Our good friend Bonnie Crocker from Domaine Selections will be here to pour samples of four terrific wines that are perfect for enjoying with spring dinners: Gurrutxaga 2009 Bizkaiko Rosado Txakolina, Do Ferreiro 2007 Rias Baixas Albarino, Vina Sastre 2006 Ribera del Duero Roble, and D. Ventura 2008 Ribeira Sacra Vina do Burato. Easter is coming soon (it's April 4th this year) and these wines are great for pairing with festive meals. The free tasting will be 4:30 to 6:30. So come on by, taste some wine, and maybe enjoy a little plate of cheese and charcuterie while you're here!
