Friday Tasting: Wines of the Loire

The rain has returned, and it’s tempting just to hurry home after work and curl up with a good book. But if you do that this Friday, you’ll be missing out on tasting some delicious wines from the Loire! Instead of scurrying straight home, why not take a little detour through French wine country? From 4:30 to 6:30 on Friday, October 16th, we’ll be offering samples of 2007 Chinon Les Petites Roches, 2007 Domaine de Reuilly Blanc Pierres Plates, 2007 Domaine Richou Anjou Rouge Les 4 Chemins, and 2006 Hippolyte Reverdy Sancerre Rouge. Stop by and see what the French can do with pinot noir, cabernet franc, sancerre and sauvignon blanc. Who knows? You might just find a perfect bottle to enjoy while you’re snuggled in, listening to the rains pour down!
