Meet the Fisherman!

Love tuna but worry about the mercury or sustainabilty of the fishery? Drop by the shop on Thursday, June 11th from 5-6pm and talk with Rick Goche, the fisherman behind Sacred Sea Wild Albacore Tuna. He catches it with single hook and line — no nets or long lines, which reduces the bi-catch to almost nothing. We love his tuna: it has a great meaty flavor that tastes like the clear blue sea — it’s the only one we use for our sandwiches and salads.
