Next Class: Wine Tour of Oregon
March 30, 2009
Most Portlanders are well aware of the terrific wines being made in the Willamette Valley -- but how much do we know about what's being produced in Oregon's other regions? We're very excited to have Cole Danehower coming in to take us on a Wine Tour of Oregon on Tuesday, April 7th. Cole is the Co-Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of NW Palate Magazine, founder of the James Beard Award-winning Oregon Wine Report, and is currently writing a new book on Wine Countries in the Pacific Northwest. In short, he's a big dog in the Oregon wine scene and has a lot of knowledge to share. He'll be discussing Oregon's major winegrowing regions, their terroir and representative varietals. Naturally we'll be tasting wines as part of our tour. Join us for a deliciously educational evening!
