Valentine's Day Tastings

Drop by the shop on Valentine’s Day and taste a couple of truly delicious products: Apicio Balsamic Vinegar and Taza Chocolate. Our December tasting of the Apicio was pre-empted by Big Snow, and we’re delighted that Barbara Gross of Cooper Mountain Wine will be here on Saturday to tells us how they produce this delicious balsamic vinegar in the Willamette Valley. Taza Chocolate is one of our favorites — one of the few bean-to-bar producers here in the US, they do a light roast on the cacao which brings out the natural fruitiness of the bean and then stone grind it to preserve all that great flavor. Yum! You can taste both the Apicio and the Taza this Saturday afternoon, 3-5pm. Who knows, you might think they’re a perfect Valentine’s treat for your sweetie!
