Pholia Farm Cheese Tasting

Some of our favorite local cheeses come from Pholia Farm in Rogue River, Oregon. On their completely sustainable and solar powered farm, the Caldwell family (Vern, Gianaclis, & Amelia) raise a herd of Nigerian Dwarf Goats and produce terrific cheese. Vern Caldwell will be in the shop on Saturday, November 15th from Noon to 2pm, sampling the Elk Mountain and Hillis Peak cheeses. Drop by to taste the cheese and chat with him about their unusual goats and commitment to sustainable stewardship of the land.
