Next Class: Grower Champagnes

It's Bubbly Time! Get ready for the holidays with a November 18th class on Grower Champagnes, led by Dana Pickell of Triage Wines. These are not from the Big Houses like Moët et Chandon or Veuve Clicquot which produce hundreds of thousands of cases (and aim to produce the same flavor profile year after year), but from small winemakers who grow their own grapes and produce wine that truly reflects the land: lovely, nuanced, and highly individual Champagnes. Learn how Champagne is made, taste the difference the grapes make, and nibble cheese while you sip – what a way to launch the season!

When: Tuesday, November 18th, 2008
Where: Foster & Dobbs Authentic Foods
Cost: $25 per person. Reservations are required and must be secured with a credit card. Call the shop at 503.284.1157. Class size is limited and fills quickly. Cancellations require 24 hours notice for refund. Participants receive a 10% discount on purchases the evening of the class.
